English teacher at Ta Pen school in Cambodia assesses the two-week English immersion course organised last August.
The English course at Ta Pen has been a fruitful experience for the students. Students were encouraged to use their English as much as they could in order to communicate with course leaders and participants. They became more confident, sociable and cooperative in classroom tasks, and in indoor and outdoor games.
Everyone learnt English actively and had tons of fun with their friends. One of the most noticeable activities was the project where learners had to work in groups to draw a picture and then present them to the class. They worked so hard to draw and explain their pictures to their friends. Camping was a gorgeous and meaningful gift to our students before their vacation.
